It’s pint night, as Flingers welcomes Maplewood back to the bar for a tap takeover and glass giveaway starting at 4pm on Thursday, May 8. We’ve got a fresh keg of their newly-released Galaxy Juice Pants variant, so you’ll want to come have it before all your other beer guzzling friends.
Maplewood is one of those under-the-radar but sneaky good Chicago breweries. Over the years, we’ve had all their flagship brews on tap, plus several seasonals and small batch limited releases. From Fat Pug to the Juice Pants/Jorts series, to the Shakey and pastry cake series, we’ve long known they make delicious brews. In our opinion, they don’t get as much love as they should…so we’re changing that by having them back again for the 2nd time in 6 months.

Name: Galaxy Juice Pants
Style: Hazy IPA
ABV: 7%
Our Description: Huge flavors of passionfruit, peach, mango, orange and grapefruit in this Galaxy-hopped variant of the Juice Pants hazy. It's a lush, vibrant tropical fruit juice bomb ready to explode!
Name: Green Crest
Style: West Coast IPA
ABV: 6.8%
Our Description: West Coast IPA brewed with Chinook, Amarillo, and Comet hops for a blast of citrus with apricot and juicy peach riding shotgun. Wonderfully balances bright hop flavors with a clean finish, making it an everyday IPA with major flavor.
Name: Super Son of Juice
Style: Imperial IPA
ABV: 10%
Our Description: Hero-sized version of Son of Juice, this huge 10% DIPA is bursting with juicy notes of citrus, pineapple, and mango. Smooth, full-bodied and bold, go for the Super Son.

Style: Helles Lager
ABV: 4.5%
Our Description: Brewed with high-quality heritage German malts and noble hops, this traditional Munich-style Helles (light) lager blends subtle lemon flavors with soft malt sweetness. Crisp, dry, easy-drinking lager.

Style: Session IPA
ABV: 4.5%
Our Description: Tropical fruit & peach flavors, maybe some orange citrus too, with some grassy, earthy spiced hops. Very drinkable and very crushable.
