At Flingers you can Dine-In at regular tables on our restaurant side, high top tables at our bar side, and even sit and eat at the bar. And when the weather is just right you can enjoy our outdoor beer garden as well.

  Are you addicted to wings? We’ve got ‘em with bones. We also have those boneless adult chicken nuggets you love so much. Choose your size, your flavor, and your dipping sauce. Did we tell you we won best wings the last few years in a row? We did.

  Wish you could order a salad with more flavor? You can add any topping you want on a pizza, why not in a salad? We do that. Plus we have several signature salads that are so big you’ll have leftovers. Or you can share with a friend. Unless you don’t like to share. Up to you. Did we tell you we won an award for best salads? We did.

  Do you long for appetizers that aren’t the same as everyone else? We have homemade hot dips. Order them with breadsticks like the cool people do. Have you ever had a quesadilla with pizza ingredients and made of pizza dough? Yeah, you need to try that.

  We have a full bar. We have fun NA mocktails. If you love craft beer, we’re you’re spot. But we also do craft cocktails, too. Fueled up and non-alcoholic. And we have wine. Did we tell you were were voted best bar, best cocktails, and best bartender several years in a row? We did.

In 2024, Flingers was again voted the Best Restaurant in Bloomington-Normal! There are a lot of great local restaurants in Bloomington-Normal (Epiphany Farms, Fort Jesse Café, Mystic Kitchen, and Biaggi’s…just to name a few). We’re humbled to steward the top spot again as Bloomington-Normal’s Best Restaurant.

It features a handful of picnic tables and a couple of 4-top tables, and since it faces West, it’s a perfect place to have a relaxing dinner during sunset golden hour. A few frequently answered questions:

• Smoking & vaping are not allowed
• Due to space constraints, no pets are allowed (service animals exempt, of course)
• Always check-in first at the host stand and we’ll seat you. Please don’t just go grab an open table.
• Use the gate to exit only

Restaurant Parking

First time? Where should we park? This is a good question. It’s our favorite question.

Our indoor restaurant capacity is larger than our parking lot, so even if the lot is full, there’s a good chance we still have a few available tables or seats at the bar. Don’t assume there’s no room inside and give up on us.

We made you a chart. Green means go for it, red means no. We also have some handy bullets below the graphic if you prefer.

In addition to our restaurant lot, it’s okay to park…

• In the Clay Dooley and Tuffy lots to the East, but only after 5pm
• Across Vernon Ave. to the north in the old dry cleaners’ lot. If you park here, please do not jaywalk across the 5 + lanes of Vernon Ave. traffic. You are not Frogger, use the crosswalk.
• Across Vernon Ave. to the north in the Stephens Auto Glass and/or Country Financial lot, but only after 5pm. Again please don’t Frogger your way across Vernon.
• As a last resort, the Jeffrey Alans lot is further west.

NOT Okay to Park:

• La Gondola
• Mobile Audio
• Back alley
• Please do not park in the 2 parallel spots closest to the north exit of our parking lot. Those are reserved for Drive-Thru Window customers who may need to “pull forward and wait” while their pickup orders are finishing.
